It's been known for a little bit that Robert Zemeckis has been planning to remake Yellow Submarine using the same 3-D motion capture technology that he has been perfecting for a few years now but up until today we had no idea who would step in for the Beatles, well without further ado your new Beatles!

(Like this only in 3-D)
Dean Lennox Kelly (Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel) will be playing John Lennon, Cary Elwes (Princess Bride, Saw) will be playing George Harrison, Adam Campbell (Epic Movie) will be Ringo and the finest news of them all is that Peter Serafinowicz (which for the record I CAN PRONOUNCE) will be playing Paul McCartney! Serafinowicz has a slew of voice work on his resume as well as his own Sketch Comedy Show in the U.K. the one voice that may stand out to Nerds like us is that of Darth Maul in Episode 1.
As well as the four actors listed above the Beatles cover band Fab 4 will be recording the music for the film.
All this news is fantastic but if you ask me Serafinowicz could probably easily take on the role of all four (just watch his show to see a few of his impressions). This bit of news as also inspired me to start up BRITISH INVASION WEEK!
Beginning tomorrow and running until next Wednesday I will be counting down my top 14 British television shows of all time. If your looking for some new shows to watch keep an eye on the blog to get some ideas.
